All I Want
2.5 starsnot quite sure why I didn't care that much for All I Want. It might be that I o.d. on the series by reading the last three practically back to back. OR it could be have something to do with the narration. I listen to the audiobook of All I Want. And somehow I found the narration a tad to melodramatic for my taste.
While I kinda get the appeal of Parker, I didn't really feel that way. I mean I like him well enough, but lust for him? nope.
Then there is the supposed chemistry between Zoe and Parker, somehow that fell short for me as well.
The romance, was, well, not really my kind of thing. Parker is supposed to be so sweet and caring, but he not a single time took Zoe out on a date, or did very much to woe her. I mean I get tough Alpha dudes and all that... I married one of them.. but one doesn't have to be sopy or soft to persue a woman.
Ok let's just call it as it is: the entire thing is to pink and fluffy for me. Too saccharine, and too much the one and only.
Going back to the audio, I think I might have liked the book a tad better if I would have read it- since I have no intention to re-read right now, we might never know.
*sigh*
BUT the good news about that is: Most romance lovers won't mind. I just like some more sass to my romance is all.
All in all it's a sweet romance, with a splash of action and cute furry encounters.
