Spiral of Need
I still think Wright does the smutty shifter romance well. But having read a whole lot of them, it has become a bit repetitive IMO. To put it kindly. There is a clear MO in these novels and while I like the novels, enjoy reading them, I want something new and different now. The storyline was not amazing because of that. It's too similar to all the previous books.
The world building is still interesting, I love the politics and the mysteries that Wright adds on to each book.
The smut? Still not really my cup of tea, but it's beyond repetitive now. Just: meh.
However, I love both packs, love the cast and am going to go on reading whatever Wright publishes.
